Dear Neighbor,

As we continue through the month of March, my colleagues and I remain focused on the ongoing New York State Budget negotiations in Albany. This process is a critical opportunity to ensure that our state continues to invest in the programs and services that support working families and strengthen our communities.

My priorities during this budget cycle include continued support for arts and culture, expanding access to healthcare, protecting public housing residents, addressing public safety concerns, investing in our state parks and green spaces, and ensuring that community organizations have the resources they need to serve New Yorkers.

My office remains available to help with any issues you may be facing. You can call us at 212-828-5829, or visit us Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm at 335 E 100th St. My office also hosts weekly off-site constituent hours throughout the district to make it easier for residents to receive assistance closer to home.

I look forward to continuing to connect with you at events throughout the community. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything my office or I can assist with.

Yours in Service,

Senator José M. Serrano
