L service will operate along its normal line from 8th Avenue in Manhattan to Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will not be operating regular L service between Brooklyn and Manhattan during three weekends in 2022.
The alternate service plan that is outlined below is due to ADA project work at the Grand Street and Lorimer Street L stations in Brooklyn, and other station work in Manhattan.
January 14-17(*UPDATE ABOVE*), February 25-28, and April 29-May 2, 2022, from 11:30 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday:
L trains will operate normally in Brooklyn from Myrtle Avenue to Rockaway Parkway in both directions.
No L train service between Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn to 8th Avenue, Manhattan.
A fare-free shuttle bus will be in operation from the Lorimer Street L station to the Marcy Avenue J M station, stopping at the Bedford Avenue L station.
A fare-free shuttle bus will be in operation from the Lorimer Street L station to the Myrtle Avenue L station.
Notifications will be available on the MTA website and in all affected L stations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, including directional signage to the shuttle buses.
MTA personnel will be available to direct customers to the shuttle buses.
