On Tuesday, August 24th, Senator Persaud and staff hosted the Sd-19 Fun Day & Back to School event:
Senator would like to thank everyone who came out to SD-19 Fun Day on 8/24, and special thanks to the partners that assisted in providing hundreds of backpacks with school supplies.
Lots of resources were provided, as well as fun activities such as an NYPD Game Truck which was a highlight of that afternoon in addition to the arts and crafts, reading stations, balloons art by Clown Ding A Ling, and so much more.
Food supplies were also distributed that were provided by The Campaign Against Hunger, as well as children's diapers and feminine hygiene products.
