This Friday, May 5 from 12 - 1 pm, please join Council Member Gale Brewer, the MTA and me at Goddard Riverside’s Lincoln Square Older Adult Center (250 West 65th St.) for an information session on Reduced-Fare OMNY for seniors. The MTA plans to phase out MetroCards by the end of 2023. At this event, the MTA will explain the new OMNY system and how seniors can continue to participate in the Reduced-Fare program with the new technology. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, as well as an opportunity for participants to set up their Reduced-Fare OMNY. If you want to set up your Reduced-Fare OMNY at the event, please bring your smartphone, debit card, and Reduced-Fare MetroCard.
